Desiree Duong is an adjunct faculty member at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She discovered Deaf community & culture when she was only in her first year at CSUN because she was not exposed to Deaf culture when she was in K-12. 

 

She is passionate about teaching American Sign Language and educates her ASL learners about the issues in the Deaf community, culture, language and Deaf children. She enjoys using technology features within her ASL instruction. During her free time, she enjoys hiking in nature and being a foodie who likes to eat!
