Carley Carbin is a a first-year DHI Bureau Member-at-Large and teacher at California School for the Deaf, Fremont. She received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Criminology and her Masters of Science degree in Leisure Service Administration (Recreation) at Gallaudet University. She also has a Masters of Science in Bilingual Deaf Education from K-12 (and holds Maryland and California Teacher credentials).

She believes our youth is our future, they are our torch holders who will pass down to other future youth. She loves to do outdoorsy activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, rock climbing and disc golf.
